Carsome is Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform. With presence across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore, they aim to digitalize the region’s used car industry by reshaping and elevating the car buying and selling experience. Carsome provides end-to-end solutions to consumers and used car dealers, from car inspection to ownership transfer to financing, promising a service that is trusted, convenient and efficient.

When the Company approached us, they had a clear leadership in Malaysia and an emerging #1 position in Indonesia and Thailand. This was driven primarily by strong on the ground execution by management, on the back of demand tailwinds across the region. Additionally, we saw significant potential value creation from near term expansion to B2C, which the Company has since ventured into.
