Help Southeast Asia Build a New Generation of Unicorns
Our mission is to empower Southeast Asian founders to build a new generation of tech giants. We do this through deploying capital that directly addresses our region’s ‘Series C/D Gap’, and expertise in operating skills, drawing upon our collective experience growing eight multi-billion dollar companies, including three in Southeast Asia.

Both our co-founding partners have experience building companies and generating immense value – while Group President at SEA, Nicholas Nash led the largest Southeast Asian IPO of $989m, and while CEO of B2C E-commerce at Naspers, Oliver Rippel invested in Flipkart from end-to-end, initiating the investment and helping to navigate its sale to Walmart at a $21b valuation.
Our Investment Strategy
Our Roots in Southeast Asia Run Deep
Our six co-founders have invested in or helped to lead 24 companies in Southeast Asia over the past decade. Our co-founders include Thai, Indonesian, and Vietnamese nationals, authentically helping our companies expand across the region. We understand regional nuances and relative countries’ strengths.
Disciplined Investment Criteria
We focus on lower middle market growth equity in technology-enabled companies. These are thesis driven sourced, where we identify early sector leads. We are excited by founder-led companies with validated technology viability and customer value-proposition business models. We center at $25-$100m total investments, with 10-20% significant minority stakes.
Each of our Co-Founders Has the Rare Combination of World-Class Investing and Operating Skills
Our team was trained at some of the world’s best investment platforms: General Atlantic, Naspers, Temasek, and TPG. And, as important, learned how to grow and lead businesses as executives or independent directors at SEA, eBay, Bukalapak, and Vinamilk, all multi-billion dollar companies.
Momentum-Driving Value-Add
With our co-founding team averaging 17 years of investment and operating expertise, we focus mostly on helping our companies with their regional expansion and technology upgrades. Besides that, we are active board participation and advice on corporate best practices – we want to build, with founders, good traction towards next financing rounds or to IPO.
